Overview
Co-organized and led the AI section of the second Greenwich Finance Series event — a student-run financial literacy initiative at Greenwich Town Hall. 40+ students from 9 area high schools attended.
What I Did
- Built a live AI stock prediction agent and presented it to 40+ high school students.
- Led a discussion on how AI agents work and how they are being used in financial markets today.
- Walked attendees through the code and natural language processing behind the agent.
- Students built their own version of the agent hands-on during the session.
The Event
- The evening opened with finance professionals covering income, taxes, budgeting, and investing fundamentals.
- Speakers included Jon Wendell (Nassau Point Investors, Harvard Business School), Mack Portnoy (VP, J.P. Morgan Private Bank), and Saphora Afkhami (J.P. Morgan Private Bank).
- Schools represented: Greenwich High School, Brunswick, Greenwich Academy, GCDS, Sacred Heart, Stamford High School, King School, Westhill, and Windrose.
